http://powerofmusicrecords.com/blog.cfm Sun, 20 Jun 2010 05:45:00 GMT http://bandzoogle.com http://powerofmusicrecords.com/blog.cfm?feature=1294007&postid=328136  For a great time in my life I've always been amazed at the signature and handy work of the the Lord throughout all creation.  From an infinite design in order and number in those things that are seen,but what about the things not seen that share the same order and number.  The 12 keys and scales on the piano gives off unseen melodies but that is heard.,Seen yes(on the music sheet).  It's only when those notes that are written becoming alive when manifested through and intelligent soulful being(Man in God's image).  In Genesis 2:7 reads..."And the Lord GOD formed man of the dust of the ground,and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life,and man became a living soul".  The album title and song titles reflect to tell a story beginning with Jazzy Twilight then bursting into Day Break!  mirrors the scene at the start of "this" creation. Indeed Soulful is the title track followed by Room To Breathe which describes the dimensions and our freedom in Christ to be "Indeed Soulful". Just A Touch a song for all but yet give in to the notion that all we need is Just A Touch from the masters hand. Husband/Wives can also love one another with Just  A Touch. Here Waiting crosses my mind to remind us that Christ is there waiting for us to get closer everyday. New Oasis reflects the newness in a changed life and once with the victory Top Gunning..kept pressing for the high mark Jesus Christ. Suite Groove is another song to describe a "place" to be in our walk and if we can get into the groove of doing what's right. Then we'll walk in Familiar Places and be Reconditioned.  This album has some influences from well know jazz artist Ben Tankard,Marcus Miller,Brian Culbertson and has the tribute with Miller's Mantel.  Boy I tried to play like Marcus Lol...he's a great talented bassist. How every the last song finals out "Here(still)Waiting" still stresses that his arms are open wide and that if in your marriage to remember your vows and strive to make it last.  Altogether a  very unique  well put together album that will capture your attention.
