Bobby is back to work on a NEW PROJECT!!! - March 17, 2009
Some time has passed since the release of Bobby's latest work "2nd Phaze". The album was released in November of 2007 for the year of 2008 with the Maxi single "Afternoon Drive" jump starting things off in October of 2007. 2nd Phaze has received great reviews and was first featured on smoothjazz.com and smoothlounge.com it's sister station. Afternoon Drive got the spotlight on Indies Showcase at Jazzfusionministry.com with Margo Lovett hosting all of your smooth jazz and gospel music. The news now is that Bobby is back in his studio working on new music for a late 2009 or early 2010 release. We all know that when he releases new material that it' s always a surprise as to what you may hear from him. What can be said so far is that the material is great!!! 90.9 WJAB Midday Jazz with Jackie Anderson - January 10, 2008
Today the host of Midday Jazz Ms. Jackie Anderson on 90.9 WJAB in Huntsville Alabama featured from the 2nd Phaze CD "It Was Only Yesterday". This song is the track dedicated to Bobby's Late Grandmother Mrs. Lillie Lowery who passed March 1 2007. A week later Bobby began to work on the 2nd Phaze album. Bobby states.."I just poured myself into this project to deal with the lost of my Dear friend. There were times after she passed that I didn't leave the house other than to work but in my spare time I didn't visit friends or do anything fun. Five months I went through this but while hid away from others I was working on producing my second album that I'd promised myself I'd do". Therefore the results to Bobby's efforts came about in 2nd Phaze Bobby's newest CD to date following his first release "Desire,Strength & Ambitions". There is also a maxi single "Afternoon Drive that Bobby also recorded that celebrated the release of 2nd Phaze. The single also includes the song "Golden Summer" which is from the 2nd Phaze CD.
